ProJared says that the "flexing" animation you get after drinking a potion is gone. This kind of robotic animation no longer exists apparently. Any Monster Hunter fan knows about the famous "double step in place" that monsters do to reposition themselves and prepare to attack the player. Interestingly, ProJared mentions that monster animations are no longer robotic this time around.
So you can still tell your friends that you are in Zone 1 or Zone 7, but you won't have to suffer through loading screens when going through each zone. It's just that there is no loading screens between each segment of the map.

Instead of gathering or carving 3-4 times until the gathering or carving point is exhausted, you just get a quick grabbing animation and you move on. Basically, to summarize ProJared, it's still the same Monster Hunter we all know and love, but with lots of quality-of-life improvements.įor example, remember how MH Generations improved gathering and carving by making it so that you don't have to mash a button in order to repeatedly gather or carve?
